GC’s Philpot signs with the Redhawks

Congratulations to Daylon Philpot of Gadsden City who signed with Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee to play baseball.  Martin signed with the Redhawks in a private ceremony last week.  We wish Daylon the best of luck and hope he has a fantastic college career!

Gadsden City’s Samantha Corker was tabbed as 2020 Greater Gadsden/All-Etowah County Soccer Coach of the Year.  Gadsden City finished the season with an 8-3-1 record before it was cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic. Some of our GCHS custodians sanitized and disinfected their personal sprayers and used them to help disinfectant classrooms, bathrooms, stairwells, offices, door handles/knobs, handrails, etc. at Gadsden City High School this week. 1.They brought their own sprayers and the school provided the disinfectant. 2. Gadsden City School’s Student Free Meal Distribution, March 31st

The Gadsden City Schools will offer several days worth of free meals to students on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from noon – 2:00 p.m. at four locations in the Gadsden area.  Thompson Elementary Litchfield Middle Emma Sansom Middle Gadsden City High School.  It will be a drive-thru pick up service.  It will not be necessary
