LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Chris Dudley, a 6-foot-3 guard from Gadsden, Alabama, has singed a National Letter of Intent to continue his collegiate basketball career at the University of West Alabama.
Dudley comes to Livingston after two seasons at Shelton State Community College, averaging 10.2 points per game as a freshman and 9.4 as a sophomore, respectively.
While at Gadsden City High School, Dudley averaged 23 points and seven rebounds per game, helping the Titans to a 24-6 overall record and an appearance in the Northeast Regional Tournament Finals during his senior season.
The 2015 Gadsden Messenger Boy’s Player of the Year and Alabama Sports Writers Association Second Team Class 7A All-State honoree finished his high school career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,232 points. Dudley also set GCHS’s single-game scoring record with 35 points against Austin High, earning him a spot in his alma mater’s Hall of Fame.
Dudley follows Kaddell Perry, Charles Tripp and Josh Fleming as the latest addition to the West Alabama men’s basketball roster.
