A few Etowah County basketball teams dropped out of the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s high school basketball poll released Tuesday night.

Coach Jeremy Brooks’ Gadsden City girls also fell out of the rankings. The Titans (5-4) were No. 9 last week and lost their lone game of the week against Mountain Brook 68-63 Monday.

Gadsden City boys (5-4), which beat Midfield 77-71, stayed put at No. 10 in 7A
