Gadsden City is so proud to announce that Jaycie Correll and Deasia Crocton will continue their cheer careers at the next level. Jaycie will will be cheering for the Tigers at the University of West Alabama and Deasia will be cheering for the Chargers at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. CONGRATULATIONS GIRLS!!!! Jaycie Correll has been cheering since she was 4 years old. From Pee wee cheer to cheering at Emma Sansom Middle Jaycie began cheering for the Junior Varisty team at Gadsden City her Freshman year in 2014. She was also chosen to compete on the competition team. For the next three years Jaycie cheered on both the Varsity Sideline and the competition team. Her Senior year her team voted her as Captain. During her Senior year at UCA Cheer Camp At Auburn Jaycie received the pin in forward award, was chosen as Team All American. And was also chosen to come back next year and work for UCA as a staffer. Jaycie is a very hard working and dedicated person both on and off the field. Jaycie is going to continue her cheer career at the University of West Alabama and pursue a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Jamie and Alison Correll. ￼
Deasia Crocton has been cheering since she was a little girl. She cheered both years at Litchfield Middle before coming to Gadsden City. I’m 2014 Deasia made the Junior Varsity Team. In 2015 Deasia made both the Varisty sideline and competition team where she cheered for the next two years. During Deasias senior year she was chosen as captain of the competition and Co captain of the sideline team. At UCA cheer camp At Auburn, Deasia was chosen at Team All American and was asked to come back next year and work as a UCA staffer. Deasia is a very hard working young lady both on and off the field. Deasia is going to continue her cheering career at the University at Alabama at Huntsville. She is pursuing a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Hezey and Jenester Crocton.
