Titans At The Next Level

Chattanooga:  CJ Winston LB #48 The Mocs lose to Furman 20-35 last Saturday. CJ had one solo tackle and a forced a fumble in the process! Chattanooga will be coming to Birmingham Saturday to play Samford at 3PM. This game will be on ESPN 3.

Tulane: WR #3 Darnell Mooney. Tulane gets a 38-26 Homecoming win against Tulsa last week. Mooney had two catches for 27 yards. The Green Wave is on the bye week until the 16th.

Georgia Southern: DE #59 Elijah Campbell. Georgia Southern played last Thursday against Appalachian State and got a huge 24-21 upset win over the 20th ranked Mountaineers. Campbell got an assist tackle in the game. The Eagles host Troy tomorrow at 3:30.

USA: WR David Webb #34 had no stats.  USA will be coming off their bye week to face Texas State at 2PM tomorrow.

Bethel University: LB #56 Jakobe Griffin The Bethel Wildcats snag a homecoming win against Thomas More 35-28. Jacobe got a huge six solo tackles in that one. Next up is the University of Pikeville at 4PM Saturday.

West Alabama: DE Trevonte Carter #40 The Tigers defeat Florida Tech 13-10 last week. Carter had a solo tackle and two assists. One of the assists was part of a QB sack. West Alabama will be hosting Mississippi College at noon tomorrow. This game will be on ESPN 3.

Miles:  DB Joe Tillis #29. The Golden Bears shut out Kentucky State 17-0 last Saturday. No Joe stats in this one. Miles faces Tuskegee University tomorrow at 1PM.

Huntington:  OL Carson Liggan #72 Huntington flat out stomps Greensboro last week 57-0! Liggan got some play time on the offensive line. The Hawks host N.C. Wesleyan at 1PM tomorrow.

Tuskegee: QB Ahmad Deramus #3. The Golden Tigers edge Edward Waters 27-26 last Friday night. Deramus had a great night throwing 22 times for 12 completions, two touchdowns and had to endure one sack. He was second in rushing yards with eight carries for 34 yards. He even got two solo tackles on the defensive side of things. He did everything but kick in this one! Next up is the previously mentioned Miles College tomorrow at 1PM.

Fort Scott CC: Denzel Mooney #3 WR, Jaelyn Fleming #50, Toryque Bateman #71 OL, Jonny Kilgo #51 K. The Greyhounds lose to Iowa Central Community College 31-53. Mooney was second in the receiving department with 5 catches for 75 yards and one touchdown. Fleming and Kilgo both participated. Fort Scott finally gets away from the Iowa teams to play on the road at Dodge City Community College for their last regular season game.

Northeast Mississippi CC: Damon Williams #24 DB. The Tigers season is complete. Damon ended the season with 9 games played, 23 solo tackles, 7 assists, 1 interception and broke up 4 passes. A great defensive stat season!
