Titans At The Next Level

Chattanooga:  CJ Winston LB #48. Chattanooga defeats the Citadel, by a skosh, 34-33 last Saturday! CJ had a solo tackle and forced fumble in the game. The Mocs face VMI this Saturday at 1PM. Should Wofford beat Furman this weekend, the Mocs could have a shot at the SOCON title with a Saturday victory over VMI.

Tulane: WR #3 Darnell Mooney. Tulane loses last weekend 21-29 to Temple. Darnell led the receiving stats with three catches for 23 yards. The Green Wave will be hosting UCF this Saturday with a kickoff TBD.

Georgia Southern: DE #59 Elijah Campbell. Georgia Southern get a huge 51-29 win over ULM last week. No stats for Campbell in this one. Up next for the Eagles will be Arkansas State on the road Saturday at 3PM.

USA: WR David Webb #34 had no stats.  USA loses to the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana 27-37 last Saturday. No Webb stats in this one. The Jags will be up against Georgia State this weekend with a 1PM kickoff in Atlanta Georgia.

Bethel University: LB #56 Jakobe Griffin. Bethel ends the regular season on a high note with a 63-28 win over Campbellsville University.  Jakobe had a great defensive game with three solo tackles and had an interception for three yards. For the 2019-2020 regular season, Griffin had a total of 50 solo tackles, 76 assists, 3 sacks, one fumble recovery and an interception!

West Alabama: DE Trevonte Carter #40 The Tigers take a L to West Florida 37-48 last week to end their regular season. For the season, Carter had a total of six solo tackles, 4 assists and took part in 1.5 sacks!

Miles:  DB Joe Tillis #29. The Golden Bears maul Albany State University 21-6 for the SIAC Championship victory last weekend! Joe had 2 solo tackles and 1 assist in the game. Miles will be on the road to face Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday at noon for the NCAA Division II Football Championship!

Huntington:  OL Carson Liggan #72 Huntington gets a big 45-21 victory over LaGrange last Saturday. Liggan did not participate in that one but, he still has a chance. The Hawks have made the first round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs and will be at Berry with an 11AM kickoff.

Tuskegee: QB Ahmad Deramus #3. The Golden Tigers did come to a close however, we did get a hold of the 2019 stats for Ahmad. He played a total of 10 games this season. In Rushing he had 64 attempts for a total of 250 yards. In Passing, he was 81 for 160 in attempts for a total of 1,068 yards, 4TDs, 6INTs, with an average of 106.8 per game and an overall QB rating of 107.45. He also got a receiving stat with one catch for eight yards.  

Fort Scott CC: Denzel Mooney #3 WR, Jaelyn Fleming #50 WR, Toryque Bateman #71 OL, Jonny Kilgo #51 K. For the year: Denzel played 8 games and had 22 receptions for a total of 273 yards, 2 touchdowns, he also took care of two punt returns. Jonny played in 8 games, scored a field goal at 43 yards out, and 3 extra points. He punted 34 times for 1,285 yards with an average of 37.8, his longest punt was 62 yards. Jaelyn played 5 games and got in 2 tackles.

Northeast Mississippi CC: Damon Williams #24 DB. The Tigers season is complete. Damon ended the season with 9 games played, 23 solo tackles, 7 assists, 1 interception and broke up 4 passes. A great defensive stat season!

Northwestern State:  Damien Thompson #99 NT. The Demons get another big win 31-28 over Sam Houston State last Saturday. No Thompson stats in this one. Northwestern State faces Stephen F. Austin Thursday night at 6PM.  

JSU: PK Parker Holland #36 JSU  The Gamecocks are coming off the bye week to host Eastern Kentucky for their last game of the season Saturday at 1pm. This game will be on ESPN3.

Troy: RB #35 Jamontez Woods Troy Out for the season

NFL Cincinnati Bengals: CB Dre Kirkpatrick #27 (8th season in NFL)  Kirkpatrick has been unable to practice since hyperextending his left knee Week 6 against the Ravens  

WR Jordan Veasy is still a free agent in the NFL. We are hoping to see him picked up soon.
