Lady Titans WIN Snead State Shootout

Gadsden City defeated Madison County 65-56 Friday to win the Snead State Shootout girls high school basketball tournament. Brooke Burns totaled 25 points and five rebounds for the Titans (5-2). Haley Troup had 21 points and eight assists. Robin Treadwell added 10 points. Earlier in the day, Gadsden City routed DAR 68-30 in the semifinals.

Burns, Troup lead Gadsden City past J.B. Pennington 59-55

Gadsden City advanced at the Snead State Shootout with a 59-55 win over J.B. Pennington in girls high school basketball Wednesday. Brooke Burns paced the Titans with 24 points. Haley Troup scored 18 points. Gadsden City continues tourney play Friday.

Gadsden City Boys WIN N2HOOPS Consolation Bracket

Gadsden City won the consolation bracket of the N2HOOPS Invitational boys high school basketball tournament with a 67-60 win over Grissom on Wednesday. Shond Kidd-McKinney paced the Titans (6-1) with 21 points. Kalin Johnson scored 18 points. Deonte Jones had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jacob Hyde tallied 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
