Merrick and Wright committed during early signing period

Gadsden City’s Allen Merrick and Derickey Wright signed their scholarship commitments on Wednesday, December 18th. Allen signed with the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) and Derickey signed with Vanderbilt University. Gadsden City is super proud of these guys and we wish them the best! CONGRATULATIONS! GCHS Titans at the Next Level update

The Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl featured Gadsden City’s Darnell Mooney playing as a Senior for Tulane. The Green Wave won 30-13 over Southern Mississippi on Saturday January 4th. Darnell had three receptions for a total of 43 yards. Add those yards and catches to Mooney’s stats and he ends the 2019 season with 45
