GC Special Olympics Basketball gets a BIG WIN

Gadsden City Special Olympics Basketball won today against Helen Keller School for the deaf. The score was 29-20. Austin Clay was high scorer with 14 points and Jordan Glass had 8 points. Anthony Bell and Bryce Funk helped the team with 3 assists each. Our next game is Monday at 10 at GCHS. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!!! 

GCHS Special Olympics Basketball gets FIRST WIN

Congratulations to the GCHS Special Olympics basketball team for their first win of the season against Lawrence County. Jordan Glass and Austin Clay each scored 10 points with Austin scoring the winning points. They were assisted with passing from Mikey Hughes and Bryce Funk. Gadsden City fell short today in its first basketball game of the season.  They lost to the Exceptional Foundation of Birmingham 31-15.  Jordan Glass was high scorer with 6 points with assist from Mikey Hughes.  Other scorers were Marquiz Gross with a three pointer and Bryce Funk and Mikey Hughes each having 2 points.  Their

Gadsden City Special Oympics places 4th at State

Gadsden City Special Olympics basketball team fell short today with two very hard games.  The Titans lost to Lawrence County and James Clemens in our tournament play.  This Special group of boys came home with fourth place overall and had a great sportmanship attitude.  Gadsden City is so proud of them.  Go TITANS.

Titan Special Olympics Team is going to STATE

The Special Olympics basketball team won today in their last home game against Lawrence County .  Ricky Hearn scored his two free throws with 19 seconds left in the game to bring the score to 25-24.  Then they were able to create a couple of steals to hold off Lawrence County for the win.  Keyshawn Taylor was high scorer

Game days and venues adjusted for Titan Special Olympics Basketball

The Titan Special Olympic Basketball team has a couple of game changes. The game scheduled for Monday, Feb. 25th, against Altapointe of Talladega has been changed to a HOME game.  It is still at 10AM but at GCHS Titan gym.  The game scheduled for today has been reschedule for Friday, March 1st, to be played here at

GCHS Special Olympics Basketball gets another big win

The Titan Special Olympics Basketball Team had another big win yesterday against the Exceptional Foundation of Birmingham with a score of 25-17.  The team wants to sent a big thank you to the student body for their great support today.  Their next game is against Lawrence County at Gadsden City on Friday, February 22nd at 10am.
